Holidays:a trip to S. Agata di Militello

Today we present a new location for holidays in Italy: Sant’Agata di Militello, a town with more than 12.500 inhabitants in Sicily, in the province of Messina.

The town developed along rhe commercial road of the stare road 113, and it is near to Milazzo. Sant’Agata lies in a very fertile place.

Its origins are not very old, and the first news date back to the XVII century.

Today the town is a well known seaside resort with a beautiful beach.

Among the hotels, one of the best is Il Giardino di Sicilia, situated in the luxuriant hilly landscape on the north coast of Sicily. It is at about 8 km from the Nebrodi park and the sea of Sant’Agata di Militello. It is among a century old olive tree field. It is possible to see the sea from there and smell the orange flowers, the jasmine and the wild flowers.

Among  the farm holidays there is Villa Luca, a pretty  house in the country, with a swimming pool. The sea of Sant’Agata Militello is very near, less than a km. The farm holiday is easily reachable by car and train, this farm holiday is not far from the main way. You can relax by the whirlpool bath or playing bowls. You can see the sea and the Eolie islands from your room window and the terrace of the restaurant. At Villa Luca you will be near to the Park of Nebrodi, a natural reserve of 80.000 hectares, where it is possible to ride horses and do trekking. Sant’Agata Militello is quite near and there are restaurants and bars.
